About the 'NZ7001' / 1:130 Scale Model

40% of all profits will go towards the Royal New Zealand Air Force Museum and their efforts towards funding suitable space for them to preserve, display, and teach their 150,000 annual visitors about the history of the C-130H, P-3K2 Orion and other historical RNZAF Aircraft and items, and their contribution to New Zealand and the countries our Armed Services have been deployed to.

Accepted in 1965, NZ7001, a C-130H military transport aircraft, is an airframe with over 60 years of service to the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF). First serving in Vietnam, ferrying scientific equipment and personnel to and from Antarctica, and being a vital asset for New Zealand's relief efforts domestically and abroad, the C-130H has been a critical element of our armed services. With NZ7001 being the first C-130H off of the production line, and the airframe across its service with RNZAF No.40 Squadron performing "33,000 accident-free flying hours and 20,000 landings", this airframe is a testament to the engineering behind the design and those who operated it over its 6 decades of use.

Recreate now famous photos of its landing in Wigram with an Air Force flag print that can be flown from the top of the aircraft and a removable hatch space for a crew member to fly said flag from! Detachable wheels and an opening cargo door also allow varying levels of display, with space on the included stand to store these pieces when not in use!
